What are the programs offered at HBMCDM?

How can I apply to a Master of Science program at HBMCDM?

Application to the postgraduate program can only be submitted through our online application portal. Applications opened on October 15th 2018 and will close on March 10th 2019. In order for your application to be valid and complete, you are required to submit the online application here, upload all supporting documents, and pay the non-refundable application fee of AED 1,050 (Including VAT).

How does the admissions process work at HBMCDM?

An applicant can submit the online application along with the required documents for postgraduate studies and pay a non-refundable application fee of AED 1,050 (Including VAT). Following expiration of the application deadline, the Admissions Committee will review all applications and will shortlist qualified candidates. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews. Selection will be based on the applicant’s academic and professional credentials as well as performance in the Multiple Mini Interviews and face-to-face interviews. Ranked applicants will receive conditional offers by the second week of May 2019 to the email address provided in the application.

What does the Admissions Committee evaluate when making admission decisions?

Undergraduate studies performance, letters of recommendation, previous academic and / or professional experience are the main criteria for evaluation. However, teamwork, communication skills and personality characteristics are also taken into consideration. English proficiency is a mandatory requirement.

How many students are admitted to each postgraduate program of HBMCDM?

Maximum six students per program per cohort.

When will interviews be held?

Qualified short-listed candidates will be invited for the Multiple Mini Interviews(MMI) and face-to-face interviews scheduled during April 25th-27th 2019.

How much are the tuition fees?

The annual tuition fee for the academic year 2019-2020 is AED 160,000 (for UAE and GCC nationals) and AED 185,000 (for international applicants).

I am currently studying in another university. Can I transfer credits?

HBMCDM can accept applications from transfer students for the postgraduate programs. Their applications will be treated as all others. If the applicant meets the selection criteria, the Admissions Committee will review the courses completed at another university and will decide if the applicant is eligible for transfer of credit. The selected applicant will be notified of the decision.

I have applied to HBMCDM last year but I was not offered a position. Can I re-apply?

Yes, we will consider a new application as if it was the first.

Are stipends available?

At HBMCDM, postgraduate students are not eligible for stipends.

Does the University provide accommodation?

MBRU does not provide direct accommodation to students. However, we have negotiated on behalf of the students a number of private providers and would recommend you explore the following:
